🏒 About Us

Built by developers, for developers

We were tired of translation plugins that broke Elementor layouts. So we built one that doesn't.

Our mission: make the web multilingual without the pain

The internet is still mostly English β€” despite 75% of the world not speaking it as a first language. That's a missed opportunity for millions of businesses and creators who want to reach international audiences.

We believe translation should be as simple as clicking a button. Not wrestling with broken layouts, duplicate SEO disasters, or cryptic configuration. Translatio AI was built to make that a reality for every WordPress site.

πŸ“– Our Story

Why we built Translatio

It started with frustration. We were running a WordPress agency, and clients kept asking for multilingual Elementor sites. Every plugin we tried either broke the page layouts, ignored SEO entirely, or charged per-site rates that made no business sense for our clients.

"The problem wasn't translation β€” it was that existing tools treated Elementor's JSON as opaque text instead of a structured data format."

So we built something new from scratch. We parsed Elementor's JSON into an immutable tree of typed nodes. We created per-widget extraction rules so only text values are extracted β€” never CSS classes, IDs, or structural properties. We added a nine-step pipeline with automatic rollback so nothing could ever go wrong silently.

What started as an internal agency tool became the most technically rigorous WordPress translation plugin available. In late 2024 we launched publicly, and within three months had 12,000+ installations across 60+ countries.

We're a small team of WordPress engineers and SEO specialists. We use Translatio on our own sites every day. That means every bug is our bug, every slow API call is our slow API call, and every broken layout is our broken layout. We are extremely motivated to keep it working perfectly.

πŸ’™ Our Values

What we stand for

πŸ”’

Data Privacy First

Your content goes directly from your WordPress site to your chosen AI provider. We never see it, store it, or process it. Your API keys are encrypted with libsodium before database storage.

πŸ’―

No-Surprise Pricing

Credits are transparent. You see the exact cost before every translation. No metered billing surprises at the end of the month. No features hidden behind opaque "contact sales" walls for basic functions.

πŸ›‘οΈ

Never Break the Site

Every translation is snapshot-backed. Every API call is validated. Every widget has typed extraction rules. We designed the system so a failed translation leaves the site exactly as it was β€” always.

⚑

Performance at Scale

Translation Memory, batch optimization, memory guards β€” built for sites with 10,000+ pages, not just test sites. We test against 500-widget Elementor pages and 50K-hash TM operations before every release.

🌍

Truly Global

RTL languages, CJK transliteration, regional language variants, regional SEO β€” we treat non-English languages as first-class citizens, not afterthoughts. All 50+ languages are equally supported.

🀝

Developer Respect

Full WP-CLI support, extensibility hooks, PSR-4 autoloading, typed PHP, immutable value objects, DI container. We write code that other developers are proud to work with.
